This year at LifeGate, we are focusing on “Positioning for Overflow.” We know that God is a good God and He is always pouring out His goodness and blessings on the Earth. The challenge for most people is to put ourselves in the place where God pours out His goodness and blessings. God made us, has a purpose for us and in His love and in our purpose is where we will experience the overflow of His kindness and love. Our prayer is that each of you will find the position where God’s overflow will be poured into your life.
AA Meeting– Jim Corbett
This is an open meeting for those who feel alcohol is hindering their life. This meeting takes place on Sunday evenings at the Newport building, 7:00 pm in the basement.
Middle School Youth Group– Priscilla Foertmeyer
Training and reigning for truth; LifeGate Middle School Youth Group exists to assist parents in raising their children by providing a Christ-centered environment for young people to grow. The youth group meets on Sunday nights, 7pm to 9pm, to give students more time to hang out as well as provide a safer-alternative to the weekend “get-a-way”. This also affords our teens and pre-teens a chance to form concrete relationships with each other that will last them throughout their lives. Monthly activities are planned, and locations are rotating.
Monthly Men’s Breakfast–
The purpose of this meeting is to develop men as leaders in our homes, church and the community by strengthening our devotion to the Lord and to each other.
Ladies Ministry– Sheila Cole
The Ladies’ ministry mission is to serve the women of LifeGate through offering fellowship opportunities centered on experiencing God’s attributes (His Glory) among us though both learning and relationship.
Interfaith Hospitality Network– Nancy Gearhart
Every 10 weeks, we are the host church for the Interfaith Hospitality Network. They are the only agency in Northern Kentucky providing shelter to two-parent families and single parents with children under 18 while keeping the entire family together. They serve an average of 40 families per year, including 80 children - most who are under the age of 10. They are supported by 10 Host Churches and 43 Support Churches providing shelter, 3 meals per day, and transportation to homeless children and their families.
